Did y’all know that Renato’s started out in Fredericksburg in an old gas station? On the Bypass! I think it’s now an Urgent Care place, was Robinson’s Music, but back in the 1970’s after it was a gas station it was Renato’s! I remember coming home from college and my folks taking me to this VERY NICE restaurant, white tablecloths, etc., and feeling very weird because we were in the “service bays” of a former gas station!.
